Why are Authorities usually morons?

I guess you already know by now that I am a student at the IIT Kharagpur. After the scandlous event at IIT Kharagpur, the authorities decided that the best way to handle such situations was to implement proxy servers. I frankly do not know how feasible and good (I am not getting a better word here) that solution has been. The only result I have seen so far is lots of troubling messages that I get when I wish to visit a harmless (frankly, from my perspective like codeproject or blogger) site.

I do not expect anything more from the authorities' side; they did the best they could do (I know they are morons, for a fact). I am just complaining or more crudely said, I am just bitching.

KCL: The next generation

It's about time that the baton of the KCL must be passed on to the next generation. Have been thinking of structuring the league in a professional manner; have not yet succeeded. Seen some pleasant surprises when Sai and Phani single-handedly managed the Prelude to X-Games (an event in Kshitij managed by the KCL ). Prabhash, Sai, Phani, Paul and Sourav are the people who will manage the KCL in coming years.
